Indigo Cakes (Indigofera tinctoria)

Description

Indigo is extracted from Indigofera tinctoria which is famous for it’s ability to produce a wide variety of hues from dark navy blue to pale sky blue. Indigo is one of the most popular dye plants ever known and can grow all over the world. Our indigo contains a very high indigotin content (~50%) and comes from a farm in south India which helps mitigate any issues related to improper wild-harvesting.

Note: This is an even less processed version of Indigo that should be powdered before use.
