Mimosa Hostilis Root Bark (Brazilian Shredded)
10% discount for crypto-payments. Prices include tax and shipping.
The price is slightly higher because it’s the bulkiest and most costly to ship. It’s the same source as the powdered bark.
Mimosa hostilis is also known as Mimosa tenuiflora and Jurema Preta in Brazil where this bark is sourced from. All of our Mimosa hostilis (MHRB) comes from a sustainable farm that doesn’t employ pesticides or chemical fertilizers, making it effectively organic. In addition, by buying farm grown Mimosa you avoid potentially contributing to the over-harvesting of wild trees. We regularly test (roughly every 3-6 weeks, depending on shipment frequency) to assure a consistently high-quality product.
Produces a rich, deep pink/purple colour in natural fabrics such as cotton and wool. Can also be used as Wood Dye when mixed with an oil such as linseed or tung.
